Whether you are a Ford fan or not you have to admit one thing they did right was the Mustang. For years they have continued building this model of car which hasnt slowed in popularity at all. Even better is the variety of versions and styles they offered. One vintage style was the Mach I. This car took the standard mustang to the next level. With a few body modifications the car has a much sportier look and the performance to back it up. The 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I you see here underwent a complete ground up restoration at Wolf Creek Rod Works with no corners cut. It was started in April of 2007 and completed over a year later in July of 2008. Everything was gone through with receipts totaling over $70,000. The car is coated in Red with the correct flat Black striping. All of the stainless trim is cleanly mounted around the windows and in great condition. The spoilers are in place up front and in rear to complete the Mach I appearance. The car has been cared for extremely well and hasnt seen rain once since it was completed. It rides on vintage style rally wheels which are in great condition and are wrapped wit fresh tires (P 215/65/R15.) The car has a Marti report verifying its authenticity as a true Mach 1 and breaking down some production numbers which you can check out below: 0R05H126615 0-1970 R-Built at San Jose 05-Mustang Mach I Sportsroof H-351 2V 26,615th vehicle scheduled for production 12/69 - Built December 1969 63C-Mustang Mach I Sportsroof T-Medium Red Pain 3A-Black Clarion Knit/Corinthian Vinyl Bucket Seat 6-3.00 Standard axle ratio X-FMX Cruise-O-Matic tranmission 71-Los Angeles Ordering District The car was originally a 351 Windsor but it is now a 351 Cleveland. It is topped with a 4 barrel carburetor that has been adjusted for a nice smooth idle. The car has the correct shaker scoop and hood which looks awesome on these cars. The valve covers, air cleaner, and manifold are all coated the correct Ford blue and are in great condition. The motor was all built by New Mexico Machine shop a year prior to the rest of the car. The automatic transmission has all been rebuilt and shifts nice and smooth. The interior of the car is in excellent condition and done in the original style. It is all Black vinyl and doesnt show its age. The dash is accented with the correct wood grain over the gauges and glove compartment. All of the gauges work just as they should with no issues. The original AM radio is nicely mounted and delivers a good sound. To the floorboard is the slap stick T-handle shifter that is nicely chromed. The trunk is finished out very nicely and contains the matching spare wheel. This is a very cool car that will only go up in value. You cant loose on an investment like this! This classic is a great investment at the reduced price of only $49,500.00!
